About The Hypermobile Lifter
Strength coaching for the body you actually train in.
The Hypermobile Lifter is for people who want to get stronger and happen to be hypermobile. That includes newer lifters figuring out their setup and experienced lifters who are tired of generic advice that ignores how their joints, fatigue, and proprioception can show up under load.
The Hypermobile Lifter Team believes strength training should be specific enough to respect the body you train in and ambitious enough to help you build real strength and muscle. The goal is not to make lifting smaller. It is to make programming more useful.
The starting point is not a blanket restriction. It is the exercise demand and the lifter's response: joint position, proprioception, fatigue, stability, range of motion, recovery, setup, exercise variation, and progression rate all help shape a useful training decision.
The fundamentals are not mysterious: squat, hinge, push, pull, carry, recover, and add load over time. The useful part is knowing when to adjust the exercise, setup, range, tempo, volume, frequency, or stability demand—without turning every session into a troubleshooting seminar.
These resources are strength education, not physical therapy, diagnosis, pain treatment, or rehabilitation services. Medical or rehabilitation support can be appropriate when you need it; this work stays focused on thoughtful, progressive gym training.
